Install guide
How to Install the Winmatch APK
To install the Winmatch APK, download it from the official domain and verify the checksum. Then allow "Install unknown apps" for your browser, tap the file to install, and turn the permission off again afterwards.
Install in five steps
Download the APK from the official Android APK page.
Optional: verify the SHA-256 checksum with a file-hash app.
Settings → Apps → your browser → Install unknown apps → Allow.
Open the file and tap Install.
Turn the "unknown apps" permission off again.
Where the setting is on different phones
Stock Android and Pixel: Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps.
Samsung: Settings → Apps → the menu → Special access → Install unknown apps.
Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO: Settings → Privacy protection or Apps → Special permissions → Install unknown apps.
Most phones also show a shortcut to the setting when you first open the APK file.
Play Protect and other warnings
Google Play Protect may warn that the app is not from Play Store. That warning appears for any APK installed from outside the store. It is not proof that the file is unsafe, and it is not proof that it is safe either. The checksum is the real check.
Error messages and fixes
"App not installed"
Free up storage, delete any older Winmatch APK that came from another site, then download the file again.
"There was a problem parsing the package"
The download is incomplete or the phone’s Android version is too old. Download again on a stable connection.
The installer is blocked
Allow Install unknown apps for the browser or file manager you are opening the APK from.
